OmenUK postedMHettenbach postedAs long as you were online during the initial install of the game it should have patched it to version 1.07 as part of the install. however you might want to consider going into the game data folder on your ps3 and deleting the patches and addons then re-downloading / installing them as it has been known to have download errors that screw with things.just make sure if you do that your deleting the game data not your saves :Doh and depending on your location I gather some PS Stores have multiple versions so make sure you get the right version for you US if your US etc. WellI just restarted playing it and have screwed it all up again, go figure so deleting everything won t be too much of a problem and only just purchased the prospectors stash so not too big a deal luckily enough.Dunno what you could screw up early in the game really, sure killing some people will cause you to fail certain quests, but it certainly wont destroy the game. only real game breaking one I recall was the first time I went into HH and sniped the indian on the hill and failed every single quest in HH in 10 minutes flat :D
I ended up pissing off Deputy Dipstick in Primm I went to the NCR prison and killed the guy I was supposed to be breaking out Accidentally wore Powder Ganger clothing and got attacked so killed some civillians defending myself Didn t get the first quest for the King sorted so kinds shot the guy instead Instead of helping the ghouls I wiped them and the ghouls out to survive
well Deputy dipstick gets pissed anyway you solve that situation really. pissing off the citizens in Primm, meh no big deal there either. as far as the Kings guy, if your talking about his 2nd in command, he s kinda a dick too and there are several quest branches that involve killing him or getting him killed. but now if you killed the king himself before getting Rex you have locked yourself out of that minor branch story.
but again, these are all options that are actually built into the game, so they arent really game breaking, just makes for a different path :D however none of them actually affect the main story path which is the Platinum chip.
that thing about the deputy in primm, you can also get the law back in primm by convincing NCR to help, or even fixing the robot inside the casino to become sheriff. but if they are all hostile to you, who cares, let them be.
you should still be able to recruit ED-E the robot in the courier station even with them hostile, either go in there late at night when they are asleep in the back, stealth in, or just kill him and his wife. theyre dialog has no effect on whether or not ED-E joins you, just fix him and he s yours forever.
