Use a plastic opening tool to pry the top cover away from the phone.
The side buttons on the phone may fall out when the top cover is separated from the phone. They can easily be put back by placing them in their original spot.
Use the spudger to pry off the plastic cover which covers the LCD screen.
You will feel some resistance due to the adhesive put in between the screen and the plastic cover.
When reassembling, put the screen cover on last. It is much easier to align the cover, when you use the upper casing as a guide.
Using the tweezers, gently pry the silver ribbon on the right up towards you.
Be careful not to damage the ribbon when pulling it off; it can be fragile.
Using the tweezers, flip up the tab on the left copper ribbon of the phone.
With the tab up, slowly and gently pull the copper ribbon out.
Using the tweezers, gently fold up the four buttons away from the phone s body.
Be careful not to rip buttons off of the board. You will feel some resistance from the adhesive, but they should easily fold up if they are pulled from the bottom.
Using the spudger, pry up the speaker on the top of the phone.
Place your thumb on the screen and gently push into the phone. The screen should pop out.
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
